A new partnership means car hire deals will be more widely available
Datalex, a systems supplier based in Dublin, recently signed a deal which will allow its users access to deals on car rentals around the world.
The new partnership between Datalex and Car Trawler, integrates car rental products into Datalex’s travel distribution platform.
Datalex users will soon have direct access to all car hire products provided by Car Trawler. Car Trawler’s products include rental deals from 450 companies located in a total of 134 countries.
It is anticipated that the partnership will increase the revenue of Datalex customers.
The company’s vice president of marketing and strategy, Ornagh Hoban, said: “Incorporating the CarTrawler procurement capability will enable rich, normalized and real time content procurement from multiple car rental sources which aligned with the reservations and distribution capability of TDP provides significant value-add to our customers.”
Datalex provides a travel distribution software which allows its customers across the globe to access multiple sales channels and a large amount of travel content with only minimal distribution costs. Datalex has been in the industry for more than 20 years and counts major airlines, hotels and resort groups among their customers.
CarTrawler is a privately owned global car rental distribution company that was established in 2004 by Greg and Niall Turley.
