Carrentals.com has a new owner but things will stay the same
One of the world’s best known travel companies, Expedia Inc, recently announced the acquisition of Carrentals.com. Carrentals.com offers a variety of online car-rental services and offers customers a number of direct options through their web portal. The new agreement will allow the car company to continue its operations and report to Expedia as one of the company’s business units under their discount brand, Hotwire.
Based in New Jersey, Carrentals.com, has established a reputation in the premier car rental market. The company uses advanced technology to provide rental information to business partners and individual customers through online bookings.
To date, the details of the deal remain largely confidential. Precise terms and amounts have not yet been disclosed. Expedia has, however, announced that they will not require any significant changes to the company’s operations, including to their leadership team.
Expedia is an expert in providing tools and information for both business and leisure travelers, allowing them to research, plan, book and experience quality travel.
