Leading vehicle-hire firm’s ‘Road to Glory’ gives Brits a chance to win a week’s car hire.
Leading car-hire company Avis is putting more football fun online, with a new game called ‘Road to Glory’, that lets sports fans enjoy an online quiz while getting a crack at a week’s free European car hire. Fans of quizzes should also get a kick out of the online tournament, which pits football fans against each other in an online arena where knowledge of their favourite teams is tested.
The interactive game gives participants a limited amount of time to answer each question as they attempt to make it through to the final round. Players choose the national team they want to represent. The game randomly finds an opponent. In a series of short quiz rounds, the players are tested on their knowledge of everything from football to culture. The player who gets the right answers in the shortest time get onto the leader board.
The top player in each country will end up with a week’s free car hire for four people in Europe. Avis launches the tournament today and the closing date for entries is 30 June, 2010. Contestants need to be at least 25 years old and residents of the UK.
