Enterprise re-launches loyalty scheme

US car hire company Enterprise has announced the launch of a “new and improved” version of its loyalty program.

The St Louis-based firm said in a press release issued this week that its Enterprise Plus scheme would now offer free rentals void blackout dates entirely, allowing members to redeem credits at any of its 5,500 branches in the United States, Puerto Rico and Canada on any day of the year.

The company said that program members can accrue points via qualifying rentals at any of its neighbourhood or airport offices. The company boasts that additional loyalty scheme benefits include a dedicated customer service line for members, as well as member-only check-in queues and exclusive deals available only through the member e-newsletter.

Enterprise brand director Jim Stoeppler said in a statement that the extension of the program was just another way for the company to thank it’s frequent clients and show appreciation for their loyalty. Stoeppler said that through the “exciting” scheme that the company was building on its “excellent” customer service record and was catering to exactly what customers were asking for – rewards.

The press release said that customers can extend benefits such as free vehicle upgrades via achieving Silver, Gold or Platinum member status.
