Car rental firm Europcar has launched a new luxury rental programme for Tesco Clubcard members.

Car rental firm Europcar has launched a new luxury rental programme for Tesco Clubcard members.

Europcar officials said this week that the scheme will allow some 17 million Clubcard holders to utilise club points for Prestige from Europcar cars. Vehicles on offer include high performance cars, 4x4s and luxury brands; Prestige from Europcar operates more than 40 branches across the United Kingdom, according to a press release.

Europcar’s UK director Ken McCall says that Prestige from Europcar rentals are perfect for special occasions.

He told media via a press release that having a nice vehicle for Christmas travel can make the holiday feel extra special. He added that doing so was easier than ever before for Tesco Clubcard holders, noting that they can use points to hire anything from an Audi AB to a Porsche Boxter.

In addition to Prestige from Europcar rentals, Tesco boasts that Clubcard holders can make use of points through some 600 outlets.

Mr McCall said that Prestige from Europcar caters to the “most discerning” customers and as a partner in the Clubcard Rewards scheme that Tesco shoppers can now be saving towards a memorable rental simply by shopping at Tesco.
