Car rental giant Europcar has launched a new scheme to provide more flexibility for corporate clients.

The new service – dubbed 3 Advantage – was designed to provide mobility solutions for companies that are waiting on the delivery of fleet vehicles, according to a press release issued last week. Such firm can hire cars for a period of three months with the ability to extend by three additional months in one-month intervals.

Ken McCall, managing director of Europcar UK, said via a press release that the programme was custom tailored to fill a corporate mobility void that was not addressed via traditional short-term car rental or leasing programmes.

McCall went on to say that the company understands that corporate clients need access to a full array of mobility options that can wholly meet their needs whilst helping to reduce fleet costs.

Meanwhile, the firm has recently released its new mobile South Africa road trip app, which combines the convenience of Google Maps with social media. Officials said in press release that the programme will allow South Africans and visitors alike to chart their most beloved road routes.
