Germany-based car hire brand Sixt has launched to new airport locations in the United Kingdom.
Germany-based car hire brand Sixt has launched two new airport locations in the United Kingdom.
To mark the start of the New Year, the rapidly growing firm has recently opened new outlets in both terminals Gatwick airport, as well as its brand new location at Manchester airport, according to a press release issued last week.
The Manchester branch will be open everyday – including weekends and holidays - from 07:00am until 11:pm, although rental patrons will be able to make use of after-hours return facilities.
Similarly, Sixt’s new Gatwick branch opened in December amid the airport’s efforts to double its number of car rental customers in the coming year.
Gatwick’s head of surface transport Julia Gregory told the media that the airport was “delighted” to welcome the brand to the world’s busiest single runway airport. She went on to say that Gatwick is among the few airports worldwide that offers direct access from the terminal to rental pickup areas.
Sixt now has some 4,000 rental outlets in more than 100 countries worldwide, according to the release.
