Car rental firm Europcar is moving forward with an agreement to add BMW vehicles to its Prestige collection.

Officials from the firm said in a press release issued last week that the deal would allow Europcar customers to make use of BMW vehicles for the first time, notably 3 Series and 5 Series models. The move comes in response to demand from customers, according to the release.

Those looking to make use of the new vehicles can make bookings now for rentals beginning in February.

Europcar UK Group’s managing director Ken McCall said in a statement that the company was “really excited” to bring BMW vehicles to the firm’s fleet, noting that BMW is a brand that stands for elegance, class and perfection. He went on to say that the agreement would ensure that Europcar customers would continue to enjoy access to some of today’s most desirable vehicles.

Among specific vehicles, customers can hire the 3 Series Saloon, which features leather upholstery, BMW EfficientDynamics and parking sensors. Additionally, the 5 Series M Sport is also available and gives clients the opportunity to experience the performance of an eight-speed automatic transmission.
