Car rental giant Hertz has expanded its Supercar scheme in Europe.

Car rental giant Hertz has expanded its Supercar scheme in Europe.

Reports said on Wednesday that the programme, which provides customers with super high-end vehicles that fetch six-figure price tags on the open market, is now available in Italy and France and in April will be launched in the Netherlands. Moreover, the firm has added new models to its supercar programmes in Spain and the United Kingdom.

Officials said via a Hertz press release that the move comes in response to demand from both local and international customers in each market.

Cars available through the scheme include the Lamborghini LP 560 Spyder, the McLaren MP4-12C, the Jaguar X-KR, the Ferrari 458 Italia Spider Scaglietti and the Bentley GT Continental.

Hertz Corporation’s group president Michel Taride said in a statement that the move is “fantastic news” for all customers that want to get a taste of the lifestyle of a millionaire. He added that the new cars could provide the experience of a lifetime and that the scheme is another example of how Hertz provides a wide variety of products for nearly any type of occasion.
