According to a Trade Arabia report published on Thursday, the two companies have signed a new deal that will allow the carrier’s Oasis Club members to take advantage of special rates at Hertz locations across Kuwait Airways’ destinations. Moreover, officials said the agreement will also provide members with special deals at Hertz’ network of nearly 9,000 locations around the world.
Hertz International’s group president Michel Taride said in a statement that his company was happy to partner with the Kuwaiti flag carrier and wanted to extend a warm welcome to Oasis Club members worldwide.
Taride went on to add that Kuwait is a rapidly growing market and caters to all manner travellers and has seen substantial growth in recent years for those headed to destinations in Europe and the United States.
Likewise, Khalid Al Harbi , head of the Oasis Club, said that the move comes amid the airline’s efforts to continue providing greater benefits for the carrier’s frequent travellers.
