Enterprise Rent a Car in Northampton Massachusetts has added the Nissan Leaf to its car hire fleet.
Enterprise Rent a Car in Northampton Massachusetts has added the Nissan Leaf to its car hire fleet.
According to an official press release issued last week, the rental branch on King Street now features five of the eco-friendly electric vehicles available for hire.
Enterprise officials noted that the new Leaf models would compliment the outlet’s existing eco-friendly flet and that Northampton was chosen because of good access to charging stations and because it also features a progressive customer base.
Enterprise’s vice president for Western Massachusetts Larry Kucharski said in a statement that the firm was excited to bring even more EVs to the residents of Northampton. He went on to add that Enterprise locations across the US are now embracing clean-burning and eco-conscious mobility solutions despite the fact that they face substantial public-policy and technological challenges.
Enterprise remains the largest rental firm in the United States, in spite of the recent consolidation of Dollar Thrifty Group and Hertz Corporation as well as Avis Budget Group’s buyout of Northeast car sharing programme Zipcar.
